, winning the time trial of the mixed relay, at the end of the race held in Trento, over a distance of 48,800 kilometers (22.4 to cover for the three men and as many for the three women).
The blue team, made up of Matteo Sobrero, Filippo Ganna, Alessandro De Marchi, Elena Cecchini, Marta Cavalli and Elisa Longo Borghini, closed the time trial in 51'59 "01, preceding the defending champions of Germany on the top step of the podium.
Germans and Germans were 21 "late. In third place, and bronze medal, the Dutch national team, 26" late. Eight mixed teams started: fourth place for France, at 1'28 "; fifth for Austria, at 3'24"; Russia is sixth, at 3'34 "and tied with Ukraine; Poland eighth, at 3'52".
