Today, Damascus University announced the conditions and procedures for applying for the educational qualification diploma “General Education and Parallels in the Faculties of Education at the university and its branches in the governorates of “Quneitra, Daraa and As-Suwayda” for the academic year 2021-2022.
In its announcement, which SANA received a copy of, the university specified the start of accepting applications in the approved differentiation centers from 9/13/2021 to 9/23/2021, indicating the conditions for applying, which is that the student must have obtained a bachelor’s degree from a Syrian university in one of the specializations or a degree An equivalency from a college or higher institute recognized by the Damascus University Council and in accordance with the rules set by the Higher Education Council, and that he should not be hampered in his personal formation from carrying out the teaching profession and its obligations.
The university allowed students who graduated with the results of the exams of the second session of the academic year 2020-2021 to apply for this differentiation, indicating that students who hold non-Syrian university degrees are not considered accepted unless their certificates are equalized according to the laws and regulations in force.
The differentiation between applicants is made on the basis of the graduation rate in the degree of the university degree. It is also required that the person wishing to enroll in the educational qualification diploma in the faculties of education at the University of Damascus and its branches must not be registered or failed in any other diploma or master’s degree in any college.
