(ANSA) - BERLIN, 09 SEPT - The federal attorney general of Karlsruhe has opened an investigation into the hacker attacks in the German electoral campaign by Russia. This was confirmed today by a spokesman for the prosecutor's office in Spiegel. For months, the "Ghostwriter" hacker group has been trying to access the private emails of members of the Bundestag and the Landestag (the Chamber of Regions). According to the hypotheses, the Russian security authorities and the secretimilitary services of the GRU would be behind the attacks. In particular, the deputies of the CDU-CSU and SPD government coalition have been targeted by hackers.
