(ANSA) - MILAN, 09 SEPT - Intesa Sanpaolo confirms itself as the best European bank and the best Italian company for relations with financial analysts and institutional investors and for ESG aspects according to the 2021 ranking drawn up by the specialized research company InstitutionalInvestor.
In the European banking sector, Carlo Messina - managing director and CEO of the Group - is the best Chief Executive Officer for the fourth year since the introduction, six years ago, of the ranking that takes into account both the vote of financial analysts and institutional investors. Stefano DelPunta was best Chief Financial Officer for the fifth year; Marco Delfrate is first in the ranking dedicated to Investor Relations Professionals for the fourth year.
The awards assigned by Institutional Investor - which are based on the results of a large survey conducted among about 2,000 financial analysts and institutional investors, representing over 900 companies - testify to the strong "appreciation of the international community for Italian excellence with an international vocation and great attention to ESG issues, recognizing at the same time the quality of the CEO and the management team that has long been at the top of Europe in the preferences of investors ", explains a note.
