The event dedicated to the production of Parmigiano Reggiano Dop is back on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 September with guided visits to dairies and seasoning warehouses, open outlets, events for children and tastings.
The initiative, proposed by the Consortium for the protection of Parmigiano Reggiano Dop with "Open Dairy", allows enthusiasts and the curious of all ages to make "a journey to discover the area of origin of the PDO and its lands rich in history, art and culture".
For the 2021 edition there is also the novelty of the Open Dairy Festival in the Campovolo area of Reggio Emilia with which a Parmigiano Reggiano village will come to life "animated with the best the territory can offer to celebrate good living and the community.
