In conjunction with the start of accepting university differentiation applications at the accredited registration centers in universities and their branches, the National Union of Syrian Students, in cooperation with the Syrian Trust for Development, will launch on Sunday, next Sunday, interactive exhibitions in universities entitled “Your Eye is Your Specialty” to introduce successful students in the secondary certificate to the specializations available in universities and institutes.
Imad al-Omar, member of the Executive Office of the Union and head of the Studies and Student Issues Office, said in a statement to SANA today that these exhibitions target successful students in the secondary certificate who are looking for the features of their future in order to introduce them to the university specializations that enable them to pursue their educational attainment and the differences between them and the nature of the curricula therein, as well as The creative spaces required by these majors and the job opportunities for its graduates in different sectors, whether in the public or private sectors.
According to the age, students are provided with instructions and answers to their inquiries regarding comparison, the registration mechanism and procedures for applying for them, indicating that the exhibitions will include dialogue meetings between deans and students, meetings between graduate students and students visiting exhibitions, in addition to displaying photos and videos about universities and colleges.
The exhibitions will continue until the sixteenth of this month and start daily from ten in the morning until three in the afternoon in the Damascus University “Faculty of Law”, in As-Suwayda “Faculty of Science”, Daraa “Faculty of Education”, Quneitra “Faculty of Education”, University of Aleppo “Faculty of Architecture” and University of Aleppo “Faculty of Architecture” Al-Baath “College of Science”, Tishreen University “Central Library”, Al-Furat University “Faculty of Agriculture”, Al-Hasakah “Faculty of Law”, Hama University “Faculty of Veterinary Medicine” and Tartous University “Faculty of Arts”.
