Covid-19 in France: 81 new deaths, 2,151 patients hospitalized in critical care

According to Public Health France, 10,115 people are hospitalized this Friday on French territory due to a Covid-19 infection.

This is 208 less than Thursday (10,323) and more than 700 less than seven days ago (10,816).

The number of new admissions each day continues to decline: 505 in the last 24 hours, compared to 554 Thursday and 624 last Friday

Among the hospitalized patients, 2,151 are in critical care units (resuscitation, continuous monitoring and intensive care).

For comparison, there were 2,195 on Thursday and 2,259 last Friday.

135 new admissions were recorded there in the last 24 hours, against 139 the day before and 624 seven days earlier.

The number of new deaths is still high: 81 deaths are again to be deplored in the hospital in the last 24 hours.

In all, since the start of the pandemic, 88,700 people have died in French hospitals due to a Covid-19 infection.

In all, more than 115,400 deaths are attributed to the virus in France to date.
