Exactly two decades ago, the 9/11 attacks killed nearly 3,000 people and changed the face of the United States forever.
The whole world was affected by the terrible disaster and when the dust settled and the dimensions of the disaster began to be revealed, some of the biggest stars in Hollywood said that their lives were saved on that fateful day.
Maybe it's a miracle, maybe a series of coincidences and maybe fate.
What is certain is that there is no need to feel guilty about continuing to sleep after the alarm clock has rung.
Fact, it's life saving!

The one who saved
Michael Jackson
and did not even know she was doing it is his mother,
Katherine
.
Jackson was supposed to attend a meeting held on the upper floors of one of the skyscrapers, but spent the evening before in a long and deep conversation with his mother.
The two talked until the wee hours of the night and Michael did not wake up in time the next morning.
He was late for a meeting, an act that saved his life.
"We did not know he was supposed to come to a meeting in the towers," wrote his brother
Jeremiah
.
"We only found out the next day, when our mother called the hotel where he was staying to check that he was OK. The family dropped him off at the hotel at three in the morning."

The esteemed player was supposed to be on flight number 11 of American Airlines, which crashed into the North Tower.
Wahlberg decided to give up the flight at the last minute, chartered a private jet and flew to a film festival held in Canada.
He then provoked much outrage among the public, saying that if he had boarded the original flight he would have managed to take over the terrorists and land it unharmed: "If I had boarded the flight with my children, it would have ended completely differently. The passengers and tell them that I will land the plane safely. "
After the public criticism leveled at him, Wahlberg apologized: "It was ridiculous of me to speculate how I would have behaved in this situation. I did not mean to imply that the passengers who were on the flight acted irresponsibly. I apologize deeply to the families of the victims. My reaction was insensitive and I did not mean it." .

Although the
Duchess of York
Sarah Ferguson
was moved by
Prince Andrew
in 1996, she remained in the public eye and continued to run the charity "Opportunity for Children."
The organization's offices were on the 101st floor of the tower, but the Duchess missed the visit planned for her at the place by a few minutes.
That morning, she came to be interviewed on the popular show "Good Morning, America."
Filming was delayed, she stayed in the studio longer than planned and thus actually survived a certain death.
Seth McFarlane

In 2001 McFarlane was 27 and on the sure track to meteoric success.
"Family Man," the show he created was crowned as particularly successful and he survived thanks to alcohol and a confused agent.
McFarlane was supposed to board Flight 11 (yes, just like Mark Wahlberg) but did not wake up on time as he had spent the previous night drinking.
His travel agent gave him the wrong flight time, so he missed his plane in 15 minutes.
While at the airport, he saw on TV screens how the missed flight crashed into the northern building.

The actress who became a dubious candle maker did not survive the horrific attack, but saved the life of an anonymous woman.
Type of.
On the morning of September 11, Laura Landsorm Clark was in Central Park in New York.
She crossed the road, and the one who stopped her at the crosswalk was Paltrow herself.
The stunned Clark froze and could not believe she had encountered the popular actress just in the middle of the street.
The exciting encounter caused her to miss the train she had to take to a meeting at the World Trade Center.
