The US sexual abuse complaint has been handed over to Prince Andrew of the United Kingdom.

This emerges from court files that were accessible on Friday in New York.

Accordingly, a representative of the plaintiff Virginia Giuffre presented the documents on August 27 to a police officer at the entrance to the Prince's residence in Windsor, England.

Giuffre had filed the lawsuit on August 9th, and a first hearing on the procedure is scheduled for Monday.

The alleged victim claims in the civil suit to have been "loaned" to the second eldest son of Queen Elizabeth II by the sex offender Jeffrey Epstein as a minor.

The now 38-year-old is demanding compensation from the 61-year-old prince.

Andrew denies allegations

The allegations against Prince Andrew have been in the room since 2019.

He always denied the allegations and stated that he could not remember a meeting with Giuffre, but resigned from his royal duties after an unsuccessful TV interview in 2019.

The multimillionaire Epstein is said to have sexually abused underage girls and young women and incited them into prostitution for years.

The well-connected investment banker, who had already been convicted of sex crimes, was found dead in his Manhattan prison cell after his new arrest in 2019.

According to official information, he had committed suicide.
