Melt in Greenland
: 2021 will bring one of the largest ice
melts in Greenland on
record.
Danish researchers estimated that so much ice melted on the Greenland ice sheet in July this year that it could cover the entire state of Florida with two inches of water.
According to NASA, five trillion tons of ice have melted in Greenland in the past 15 years - enough to raise the global sea level by almost 2.5 centimeters.

Due to the severe drought combined with little rainfall in the state, the lake is only 23 percent full.

But the event in Dorenaz, Switzerland, was more about speed than an English lawn.
