Were the perpetrators avid coffee drinkers?
Was it after the market value of your stolen property?
Or was there a completely different motive?
The police did not provide any information about this in their report.
All that is known so far is that strangers stole a large coffee machine from a hotel in Schwelm in North Rhine-Westphalia on Friday night.
According to police, they climbed through a window into the hotel kitchen.
There they apparently loaded the coffee machine onto a laundry trolley and disappeared.
The car was later found down the street - the coffee maker was gone.
Thieves keep targeting expensive coffee machines in restaurants.
A few years ago there was a real series of break-ins in Berlin.
A bakery was broken into four times - and the coffee machine was taken four times.
