Carlo Alighiero, actor, voice actor, director and playwright, died on 11 September at the age of 94 after a short illness. (HANDLE)


Carlo Alighiero, actor, voice actor, director and playwright, died on 11 September at the age of 94 after a short illness.


    Born in 1927 in Ostra, in the Marche region, he leaves his wife Elena Cotta, actress and voice actress - a love lasting 70 years - with whom he crossed the history of theater, TV and cinema. From Oedipus to Hamlet, from Maigret with Gino Cervi to the role of Ubaldo Lay's assistant - Lieutenant Sheridan of Giallo Club - who gave him great popularity, to the narrative voice of Homer of the Odyssey by Franco Rossi who made an era.


    The funeral will be held on Tuesday 14 September in Rome, at 11 in San Francesco a Ripa.
