In the early summer, Charly Hübner announced his end as Commissioner Sascha Bukow.
Now the NDR announced: Lina Beckmann will be the new commissioner in Rostock for »Polizeiruf 110«.
As Melly Böwe, she investigates alongside Katrin König (Anneke Kim Sarnau).
Lina Beckmann has been employed at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg since 2013.
The 40-year-old was also seen in various crime series on German television.
Beckmann has starred in several Tatort episodes.
She was once seen in Rostock's »Polizeiruf«: in 2021 she played the half-sister of Inspector Sascha Bukow in the episode »Sabine«.
Now this character becomes the commissioner.
Beckmann is married to Charly Hübner in real life.
In the summer, the actor announced that he would leave the police call after almost twelve years and 24 episodes.
According to the NDR, the shooting for the first episodes with Anneke Kim Sarnau and Lina Beckmann is currently in progress.
The broadcast of the first episode with the new investigator duo is planned for January 2022.
