luxury cruise company Silversea Cruises
, known for its itineraries to Antarctica during the summer in South America, launched its 2021-2022 season and all its ports of departure to explore the white continent are in
Chile
.
The port of Ushuaia was left out of the schedule
for the Antarctic season of this company, despite having the protocols authorized by the national government.
At the end of August, in addition, the national government had announced the return of the cruise ships to Argentina as of October 20.
The Silver Cloud and Silver Wind ships will set sail from
Punta Arenas
, while the third ship to the same destination, Silver Explorer, will continue with its scheduled plan to depart

Proposals
The proposal for the guests of the Silver Cloud and Silver Wind ships is to fly from their places of origin to Santiago, Chile, spend one night in the capital, and the next day fly to Punta Arenas to embark.
