This Monday, 9,986 patients are hospitalized due to Covid-19. You have to go back to August 30 to find a lower level of hospitalizations.

The days go by and look the same… The new figures for the epidemic, published this Monday by Public Health France again show a situation which is improving, with a drop in the number of people hospitalized, including those in critical care.

This Monday, 9,986 patients are treated in French hospitals due to a Covid-19 infection, against 10,012 on Sunday and 10,757 seven days ago.

For the first time since August 15 (9,798 patients), France is below the 10,000 hospital admission mark.

During this fourth wave, we went up to 11,245 people hospitalized on August 30.

446 new admissions have been recorded in the last 24 hours, compared to 187 on Sunday and 661 last Monday.

86 deaths in 24 hours

Among the patients followed in hospital, 2,103 are on Monday in critical care units (resuscitation, continuous monitoring and intensive care).

Proof that things are better: there are 26 fewer compared to Sunday (2,129) and 146 months compared to last Monday (2,249).

116 new admissions have been recorded there in the last 24 hours, against 34 on Sunday and 187 seven days ago.

Over the last 24 hours, 86 deaths are to be deplored against 29 on Sunday and 103 a week ago.

These figures, just like those concerning hospitalizations, should however be taken with caution: a catch-up can generally take place on Monday, after the weekend, figures not having been entered by establishments on Saturday and Sunday.
