(ANSA) - ROME, SEPTEMBER 14 - The death toll from monsoon rains in Pakistan has reached 182 deaths, with the last 18 deaths recorded in rain-related accidents in the last 24 hours in the country.
According to the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), the province most affected, yesterday but also since the beginning of the monsoon season, in June, is the northwestern one of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
Since June 1, at least 270 people (5 in the past 24 hours) have been injured in this area in rain-related accidents, and this is where 82 people have died and 120 others were injured by the monsoons.
During this year's monsoon, 263 homes were completely destroyed and another 262 homes were partially damaged across the country. (HANDLE).
