(ANSA) - ROME, SEPTEMBER 13 - 3,865,365 pupils from the Abruzzo, Basilicata, Emilia-Romagna, Lazio, Lombardy, Piedmont, Umbria and Veneto regions return to school this morning, as well as those from Valled'Aosta and the Province of Trento. Lessons have already resumed on 6 September for students from the Province of Bolzano, while they will start tomorrow, 14 September, for 192,252 students from Sardinia, and on 15 September for 1,706,814 children and girls from the Campania, Liguria, Marche, Molise and Tuscany regions, on 16 September for 829,028 students from Friuli Venezia Giulia and Sicily. The last to return to class will be the 813,853 pupils from the Calabria and Puglia Regions, on 20 September. 59,425 teachers were hired with permanent contracts (of which 12.840 positions conferred on the basis of the procedures of the support decree bis) while to be appointed there will only be short-term surpluses that are decided by the school managers.
10,729 ATAs are also hired. Finally, 87,209 additional posts in derogation have already been assigned to the support. The Green pass debuts this morning and will be checked not only by the school staff - the checks took place with an app already in the past days, today a special platform comes into operation - but also to the parents of the pupils who enter (ANSA).
