(ANSA) - MADRID, SEPTEMBER 13 - Average prices of electricity in Spain remain skyrocketing: today they will reach 154.16 euros per megawatt hour, the highest ever recorded, while tomorrow a slight decrease is expected, with a price of 153.43 € / MWh, however above the previous records. This was announced by the Iberian Energy Market Operator (Omie). The prices are also valid for Portugal.
The repercussions of these market prices on the bills of Spanish households and companies represent one of the main emergencies for which public opinion is asking for responses from the center-left government led by Prime Minister PedroSánchez. (HANDLE).
