Place des Vosges, in the heart of the capital, the apartment occupied by Victor Hugo and his family from 1832 to 1848, before exile, was restored and modernized during confinement.
The old schoolyard which, behind the scenes, bordered the site, which is now the City of Paris museum, has been transformed into a café-terrace: an annex to the Maison Mulot, headed by Fabien Rouillard.
