(ANSA) - NEW YORK, SEPTEMBER 14 - The administration of Joe Biden has decided that it will withhold part of the 300 million dollars of conditional military aid to Egypt for human rights issues.
An American official told Politico, specifying that 170 million will be sent to Cairo, while the other 130 should be held until the Egyptian government meets certain conditions on human rights.
Furthermore, the money that will be sent will have restrictions and can only be used for counter-terrorism, border security and non-proliferation.
