The president of Coni, Giovanni Malagò, thus introduced Federica Pellegrini's debut as a sports manager at the National Council as a member of the IOC in athletes' quota.

Present at the Council, the Undersecretary for Sport Valentina Vezzali and the head of the Sport Department of the government Michele Sciscioli, in addition to the number one of the Italian Paralympic Committee, Luca Pancalli. The forum also gave him a standing ovation for the record-breaking Paralympics with 69 medals won in Tokyo 2020. Malagò also greeted and good luck to Diego Nepi Molineris for his new appointment as general manager of Sport and Health Spa.
