Covid-19 in France: 94 new deaths and 2,000 patients in critical care

This Tuesday, the authorities again report a slight drop in the total number of hospitalizations and Covid-19 patients treated in critical care services.

With 577 admissions in 24 hours, 9,739 people are currently hospitalized due to infection with SARS-CoV-2 or its variants, up from 9,986 on Monday and 10,012 on Sunday.

They were 10,646 seven days ago.

During this fourth wave, we went up to 11,245 hospitalized patients on August 30.

Nearly 115,700 deaths

Among the patients followed at the hospital, 2000 are taken care of this Tuesday in critical care services (resuscitation, continuous monitoring and intensive care), against 2103 Monday and 2259 last Tuesday.

137 new admissions have been registered there since the day before.

In the last 24 hours, 94 Covid patients have died compared to 86 the day before, bringing the total toll to 115,697 since the start of the epidemic, including 88,955 in hospital.
