A woman was killed when a car collided with a bus near Schneverdingen in Lower Saxony.
A police spokesman said five other people were seriously injured in the accident, including two children.
As far as we know, the car with five people ignored the right of way of a bus at an intersection near the Langeloh district.
The empty bus coming from the right rammed the car, seriously injuring the driver.
Of the five people in the car, four were seriously injured, and one woman died at the scene of the accident.
The seriously injured came with a total of four rescue helicopters to surrounding hospitals, as the spokesman said.
It was initially unclear whether the life of one or one of the injured was in danger, as was the age of the accident victims.
The seriously injured were trapped in the car.
