The Government accelerates on the Green pass.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Mario Draghi has summoned the unions for the afternoon.

The meeting, at Palazzo Chigi, on the next Green Pass decree should take place at 4.30 pm, in view of the Council of Ministers tomorrow.

According to the Minister for Regional Affairs Mariastella Gelmini, "we are moving towards the obligation of the green certificate not only for workers in the public sector but also for those in the private sector"

. On Radio Rai he underlined that "

only by immunizing the vast majority of the population can we contain the infections

". The government, he adds, "is ready to accelerate on the green pass, we have embarked on a clear path, tomorrow's Council of Ministers will certainly be an important moment".

"There will certainly be an extension of the use of the Green Pass. We will

discuss how and when we will discuss in the next few hours", explains the Minister of Labor,

Andrea Orlando

. According to Orlando, it is necessary to "calm down the prices of tampons" but "it is not right that general taxation intervenes to cancel a cost that derives from a choice".

"This government was born for two objectives - said

Giuseppe Conte

, president of the M5s -: to complete the vaccination campaign and to secure the country, and to start a good implementation of the PNRR: a political force that has accepted to participate in this government and betrays one of these two missions is a political force that makes fun of its electorate, has no clear ideas, and is not good for the country ". "I believe that a political force that assumes government responsibility must be consistent", continued Conte, in an electoral initiative this morning in Grosseto.

"I spoke this morning with Minister Giorgetti:

at the moment there is no defined project on the extension of the Green Pass

", declared Matteo Salvini. "The position of the League is clear - added Salvini -: we are for the defense of the health of citizens, even in the workplace. But we cannot think of extending the obligation of the Green Pass to 60 million Italians".
