The number of people who were infected with Corona after attending a 2G party in Münster increased to 81 on Wednesday.
Twelve days after the party, a little more than 20 percent of the around 380 guests who visited the club on September 3 were infected with Corona.
All 81 people who have been ill so far have been at the event and are believed to have been infected, a city spokeswoman said when asked.
QR codes are checked
The disease progression of those affected continues to be mild or asymptomatic. The health department had requested the respective vaccination certificates from the sick people who live in Münster. In the 44 vaccination records received by Tuesday, no falsifications have been detected so far. The respective QR codes of the vaccination certificates were checked and "no violations were found".
According to the city, the club in which the event took place "has adhered to the legal framework and official requirements according to the current state of knowledge."
The operator's hygiene concept was already described as "exemplary" a few days ago by the city of Münster.
Six days ago, on September 9, it became known in Münster that there had been several corona infections after the 2G party - at that time the number of infected people was still 26.
