The number of applicants to the general comparison centers at Damascus University exceeded 15,000 for all types of comparisons and direct registration.
According to the data of the Directorate of Systems and Information at the University of Damascus, received by SANA today, the number of applicants to the differentiation centers reached 15,320 male and female students with all kinds of preferences for the scientific branch and the preparatory year for medical faculties “general and parallel”, and the preferences of students in the eastern provinces, families of martyrs, wounded and missing persons, children of faculty members, the physically disabled, Arab and foreign students Non-resident Syrians, expatriates, and vocational high schools, in addition to direct registration of successful high school graduates, the literary branch “general and parallel”.
The applicants were distributed among 7,965 applicants to the scientific stream centers, 2,870 to the professional stream, and 4,483 applicants to direct registration centers in the literary stream.
According to the data, the number of people registered to apply for the admission competition in the Faculty of Architecture has reached 2,248, the English language competition, 3,460 students, and the French language 530 students to date, while the number of successful candidates in the first phase of the competition of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Damascus University reached 725 out of about 1,550 students.
The accredited registration centers in government universities and their branches began on the twelfth of this September accepting applications for university differentiation for the academic year 2021-2022 and will continue until Thursday 30-9-2021.
