Tariff simplification
Île-de-France Mobilités has adopted the principle of a simplified price list.
This leads to the end of different prices between the same point of departure and arrival depending on the route, such as journeys from Massy to Paris by RER B or RER C, or the generalization to the entire Ile-de-France of Freedom + from the end of 2022. A maximum price of € 4 for any ticket sold in booklets of 10 (and € 5 individually) will be offered from the first quarter of 2022.
The objective of this new measure is to encourage Ile-de-France residents to use public transport and not to create territorial inequality or price injustices.
This tariff shield will also be offered to holders of Navigo Liberté + when it is gradually rolled out to the entire network between 2022 and 2023.
At the same time, Île-de-France Mobilités continues to extend the services made available on the Île-de-France Mobilités application by allowing the purchase and validation on the majority of Android smartphones from 2022. These solutions will provide support the gradual end of the sale of magnetic tickets and their replacement by products available on Navigo card or smartphone.
Strengthening security
The transport operator announces that it is acquiring additional resources to fight against incivility and delinquency, such as the deployment of 1,000 more security officers.
It also provides for experimentation with artificial intelligence to help security officers deal more quickly with incidents and delinquency, or consultation with the government, parliamentarians and the police headquarters to define the modalities for the creation of 'a regional transport police.
Extensive transport offer
The program is also to strengthen the bus offer in Île-de-France with 500 additional buses, the continued development of express lines and the creation of new Noctilien lines.
Finally, Île-de-France Mobilités aims to double the number of electrically assisted bicycles to increase their number to 40,000.
