“I feel great, we let ourselves be carried away”: ready to do battle with everything that surrounds her, Sanna Sulin, bat in hand, lets out anger and frustrations in a workshop which has been very successful among women in Finland, in particular because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Old printers, dishes or vacuum cleaners, Sanna let off steam for 25 minutes on each of these objects to the sound of her favorite music.

In the Finnish capital, this new “rage room”, or anger room, allows customers to vent their post-pandemic frustration with the help of a baseball bat.

Small electronic equipment, crockery or bottles are sacrificed with every effort.

The workshop has been a great success with women in this Nordic country.

The establishment has been full since its opening this summer, the frustrations caused by the pandemic being the main causes of the anger of customers.

Inaugurated at the beginning of July, this room mainly welcomes a female audience.

“80% of guests are women between the ages of 25 and 45,” says owner Janne Raninen, whose establishment has been fully booked since opening.
