CCTV footage captured in Sinop, northern Turkey, shows a baby in a stroller slowly pulling away from a store front, picking up speed and hurtling down the steep road located below.
The sequence is chilling.
A few seconds earlier, a mother accompanied by her two toddlers entered a shop and left her youngest in his pram, a few meters from the store window.
Badly blocked, the wheels of the stroller turn, and the little boy picks up speed, until he spins alone on the road.
The mother reacts very quickly but does not manage to catch up with her child, already far too far away.
At the end of its mad run, the stroller finally ended up falling from a three-meter wall.
The little boy was rushed to hospital, but fortunately only suffers minor injuries, according to local media.
