(ANSA) - ROME, SEPTEMBER 16 - From deaths from Covid to infections, the week 8-14 September, compared to the previous one, has seen all the numbers down: new cases drop -14.7% (33,712 compared to 39,511), of the -6.7% deaths (389 compared to 417), -8.8% people in home isolation (117,621 compared to 128,917), -3.3% hospitalizations with symptoms (4,165 compared to 4,307) and -1.6% for intensive care (554 compared to 563). This was revealed by the independent monitoring of the Gimbe Foundation, which underlines that in the hospital there are "almost exclusively unvaccinated people".


   "New weekly cases continue to decrease - declares NinoCartabellotta, president of the Gimbe Foundation - while only 4 Regions record a percentage increase in new cases".


   Furthermore, "only in 2 Provinces there are over 150 cases per 100,000 inhabitants: Syracuse (178) and Messina (168).
