But the finding is rather encouraging.
During the Covid crisis, the press did well. It first of all stemmed the downward trend in its circulation with a decline limited to 3.1% of paid circulation in France with 8.3 million copies every day.
But most importantly, it managed to increase the number of daily visits to the various press sites by 5.2% to reach the impressive figure of 78 million visits each day.
