The singer will not resume his tour until January 2022 in New Orleans. “But I will be attending the Global Citizen event in Paris on September 25, 2021, because I don't want to drop a charity. It's only five songs, but it's a very different physical job than playing for almost three hours every night on tour and traveling overnight from country to country. After that, I will undergo the surgery which will allow me to resume the tour. "
Fans can keep their tickets or be reimbursed.
Because tickets for concerts scheduled for October 10, 2020 & 2021 will only be valid for the concert on Sunday June 25, 2023. Tickets for concerts scheduled for October 11, 2020 and October 12, 2021 will be usable on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 and finally tickets October 13, 2020 and 2021 on Wednesday June 28, 2023.
Elton John admits that this new postponement breaks his heart.
“I know how patient my amazing fans have been since the Covid caused the tour to stop last year (…) and I completely feel your frustration after the year we've been through.
I promise you this: the shows will resume next year and I'll make sure the wait is worth the effort.

Two concerts were also planned at the Paris La Défense Arena on June 11 and 12.
