    FLORENCE - The Monumental Complex of Santa Croce hosts from September 14 the cultural project by Felice Limosani "Dante. The eternal poet": scheduled until January 10, 2022, the exhibition develops from the reworking of the engravings that Gustave Dorè made of the Divina Comedy, combined with a dramaturgy of choirs and sounds to emphasize the otherworldly settings of Dante's masterpiece.


    CARPI (MO) - From Paul Poiret's anti-corset to the first trousers created by Coco Chanel for women, from miniskirts to hot pants, from bikinis to jeans: these are some of the iconic garments exhibited from 17 September to 6 March 2022 at Palazzo dei Pio , in the exhibition "Habitus. Wearing freedom" which documents, also through photos, videos and music, how the most significant stages of fashion innovation have often coincided with moments of liberation of the body, especially female (edited by Manuela Rossi, Alberto Caselli Manzini and Luca Panaro).


    Also at Palazzo dei Pio the exhibition "The night porter.


    Freedom of perdition ", curated by Francesca Brignoli (17 September-6 January 2022): a tribute to Liliana Cavani and her film The Night Porter, of which some original materials are exhibited such as the script with the director's annotations or the Piero Tosi's original sketch of Charlotte Rampling's costume, alongside more than 60 stills.


    MILAN - "Il Dante di Dalì" at Palazzo Pirelli from 15 September to 26 October presents to the public 100 original plates with which Salvador Dalí illustrated the Divine Comedy in the early 1960s: the path, curated by Andrea Kerbaker, documents the interpretative effort of Spanish artist who accompanied Dante's journey in the three canticles between acrobatic glimpses, visionary aspects, dominant tones. "Monet. Works from the Musée Marmottan Monet in Paris" opens on 18 September at the Royal Palace: 53 works by the great Impressionist on display until 30 January 2022, including the Water Lilies (1916-1919), The Parliament.


    Reflections on the Thames (1905) and The Roses (1925-1926), in a chronological itinerary, divided into 7 sections and edited by Marianne Mathieu, which reflects on the role andevolution of light in his works.


    TERMOLI (CB) - The natural, anthropological and social landscape that unites Sardinia and Molise is at the center of "Lisetta Carmi. Merry voices in the dark", set up from 15 September to 16 January 2022 at the Macte Museum of Contemporary Art in Termoli. Curated by Luigi Fassi and Giovanni Battista Martini, the itinerary presents a selection of 70 photographs (together with unpublished archive materials) taken by Carmi between 1962 and 1976 in Sardinia that portray places, people and professions.


    MODENA - The Gallery. Collection and Historical Archive of BPER Banca hosts "Elisabetta Sirani.


    Virtuous woman, heroine painter ", curated by Lucia Peruzzi: 4 works belonging to the BPER Banca collection and 5 paintings from private Emilian collections make up a path that intends to enhance the figure of an artist like Sirani (Bologna, 1638-1665 ), who was able to assert his freedom and his own professional autonomy by founding the first art academy for young women despite the fact that in his time the artistic activity was a male prerogative.


    MANTOVA - Palazzo Te hosts until 12 December "Venere. Nature, shadow and beauty ", third stage of the Divine Venus project.


    Harmony on earth. Curated by Claudia Cieri Via, the exhibition tells how over time, from the 2nd century BC to 1600, the way of imagining and representing the goddess has changed: among the artists exhibited in the 9 sections also Cranach and Rubens, Dosso Dossi, Guercino and the Veronese, as well as examples of ancient statuary and illuminated manuscripts.


    QUATTRO CASTELLA (RE) - "Transits. Traces of art on the territory" is the widespread exhibition by Marina Gasparini, set up in 5 places of historical interest (Roncolo Park, Rose Garden, Hermitage of San Michele Arcangelo Via Matildica del Volto Santo , Chiesa della Mucciatella) of the municipality of Quattro Castella from 19 September to 28 November: open air works and installations become tools to recover the historical memory of the places.


    ROME - At the Austrian Culture Forum in Rome from 15 September to 15 November "Touch Nature", a collective of Austrian and Italian artists to reflect on the destruction of the environment by man. The exhibition, conceived by Sabine Fellner and curated by the same with Adriana Rispoli, presents works ranging from painting, graphics, photography to sculpture, installations and videos.
