On 22 September at 9 pm Standing Ovation will dedicate an entire evening curated by the film critic Mario Sesti to the Apulian actor.
'It is a privilege to be able to celebrate and pay homage to one of the greatest interpreters of the Italian comic tradition from Totó to today', says Sesti. The event will retrace Banfi's entire career, passing through his best works (with the collaboration of the guys from the Bar del Cult and Bibliotheka Edizioni, a publishing house that in 2020 published the book 'We are all coaches in the ball', aimed at film of the same name). Pictures, memories and of course lots of laughs. The name of the event to which Standing Ovation is part is 'Re-emerge': over 100 events with 600 artists and personalities from the world of culture in 10 months of events (from 15 September to 29 June) that will animate the first edition,conceived by Eur Culture for Rome and created by Eur Spa with the artistic direction of Oscar Pizzo between the Cloud by Massimiliano Fuksas, the Palazzo dei Congressi and the entire district.
