NUORO - The fascinating world of goats represented by pinnettos becomes a tourist route and connects to the world with all its history and culture thanks to the new digital application.

It is "Le vie de sos Pinnetos" a project that "aims to enhance the typical construction of pastoral culture in an ideal path that combines the ancient residences with the products and the naturalistic and cultural beauties of the territories in which they are located", summarizes the president of Coldiretti Nuoro-Ogliastra Leonardo Salis.

The project was conceived and implemented by Coldiretti Nuoro Ogliastra and financed by the Nuoro Chamber of Commerce, with the involvement and patronage of the municipalities of Dorgali, Baunei,Orgosolo and Urzulei and the participation of various agri-food and tourism companies in the area.

It is a romantic journey that can be relived from a distance thanks to the app with videos, photos and stories in which it retraces, thanks to the testimony of those who lived and lives those isolated places but rich in history, and contributed to making them unique. and fascinating. An app in the making, in which, in addition to knowing the history and paths of the pinnettos, it is interactive, allowing visitors to post photos and videos, helping to grow the network. The project also includes several farms in Campagna Amica with which the experiential path is enriched with local food and wine excellences.

"It is an open and inclusive project - specifies the director of Coldiretti Nu - Og Alessandro Serra -, and in fact we are already in contact with other municipal administrations and companies that want to join. The project" has a historical, cultural, identity and food and wine value but also environmental - he continues - because it enhances a territory and a unique landscape, the result of the symbiotic relationship between man, animal and nature.

In short, it is the world of the goats that becomes an experiential journey that will make tourists discover and experience the isolated places where they kept their animals, which over time have become guardians of that world, an example of a garrison of the territory and modelers of that landscape ".
