Giostra dell'Arme returns to San Gemini between history and present

(ANSA) - SAN GEMINI (TERNI), 18 SEP - After the 2020 stop caused by the pandemic, the appointment with the Giostra dell'Arme returns from 25 September to 10 October in San Gemini.

The 48th edition of the event has been rethought in its own form by the Associazione Ente Giostra dell'Arme, so that - explain the organizers - "it can be 'safe' and enjoyed in the presence, following all the anti-Covid safety regulations".

On the day of the inauguration, the party will begin with a special "de li Giochi" opening ceremony, with the auctioneers of the Piazza and Rocca districts as protagonists, to mark the end of the long wait.

Among art exhibitions, theatrical performances, conferences and activities for the little ones, the traditional taverns will also return, until the final highlight, the challenge between knights for the conquest of the palio, scheduled for October 10, on the last day of the party.
