(ANSA) - MOSCOW, SEPTEMBER 19 - United Russia secures 41.17% of the votes in the elections of the Duma (lower house) with 15.01% of the ballots scrutinized. This was stated by the Central Electoral Commission, quoted by Tass. The Communist Party is second with 23.9% and is followed by the Liberal-Democratic Party (LDPR) with 9.07%, Nuovo Popolo (center-right) with 7.32% and RussiaGiusta (6.97%). So far 5 parties have exceeded the 5% threshold to enter the Duma. New People would unexpectedly enter Parliament, even if the exit poll list is not included.
