Two days after a car collided with a Bundeswehr transporter in the Ore Mountains, a 33-year-old woman died of her serious injuries.
She had been a passenger in a car that had collided head-on with the van on Thursday afternoon on federal highway 174 in Großolbersdorf, Saxony.
Its 27-year-old driver had previously got into the opposite lane with the Mercedes van for unknown reasons.
He was just as seriously injured as the 34-year-old driver and two nine and five-year-old children in the car.
The woman died in the hospital on Saturday, the police said on Sunday.
