(ANSA) - PARIS, 19 SEPT - A French tightrope walker, the 27-year-old Nathan Paulin, traveled 600 meters, crossing the Seine in equilibrium at a height of 70 meters on a cable stretched between the Eiffel Tower and the Chaillot Theater. During the long walk, in which Paulin was secured to the rope by a harness, he took a few breaks, sitting or lying on the rope, in one of which he hung with one hand. "It was not easy to run 600 meters concentrated, with everything around, the pressure," he said. "But it was beautiful."
Paulin said it was not easy to get permission and make the crossing, which was done to "bring the cultural heritage to life". The tightrope walker had already crossed the Seine in balance in 2017. (ANSA).
