(ANSA) - CASTROVILLARI, SEPTEMBER 20 - Isabella Internò, the ex-girlfriend of Donato "Denis" Bergamini, the Cosenza footballer who died on 18 November 1989 on state road 106, near the Roseto Castle, was sent to trial on the charges of murder Capo Spulico. This was decided by the gup of Castrovillari FabioLelio Festa, accepting the request of the prosecutor Luca Primicerio. The first hearing of the trial has been set for next October 25th. Isabella Internò is accused of complicity in the murder of Bergamini aggravated by premeditation and futile reasons. Neither Internò nor BergaminiDonata's sister were present in the hall.
During the hearing, the lawyer Angelo Pugliese, defender of Isabella Internò, in his speech which lasted about three hours, illustrated the defense's arguments asking not to proceed with his client. The Bergamini family was represented by the lawyer Fabio Anselmo. (HANDLE).
