Stop the city ... Long after they lost their status as the settlement elite of Israeli society, the kibbutzim flourished: rising apartment prices in cities and families searching for community life, good education and green spaces, led quite a few families to seek their future in the kibbutz.

If that wasn’t enough, the corona came and flooded two new parameters that only reinforced the trend: First, the possibility of working remotely, which many were unaware of before the epidemic broke out.

The fact that many kibbutzim are located in book areas, within a short drive of most employment centers, is already less disturbing in an era where many workplaces, even those that have not fully moved to remote work, allow for a hybrid model.

The second parameter is the open spaces, those that were not subject (i.e., in practice) to any Corona limit: while in the city residents measured 100 meters from their homes to see if they could sit outside on a bench in the nearby public garden, in rural localities the issue was not discussed.

An education system is also active during the holidays

Along with the move to a detached house, the move to a kibbutz offers a great environment for children, open spaces, and another significant advantage - an informal education system that operates all year round, after school holidays, and in summer - which makes it much easier for working parents. (Kindergarten children's summer vacation usually lasts about a week).

The membership allows for economic independence

The new members of the kibbutzim are usually accepted in the status of full membership, which includes financial independence - a status that allows families to build their home in the kibbutz and maintain financial independence in everything related to the family's financial management.

At the same time, according to publications in the national media, there will be a decrease of 7.8% in the issuance of building permits throughout the country in 2020, and this trend may even increase during 2021 - therefore the demand to purchase a house for construction increases and is also expected to lead to rising prices.

Therefore, moving to a kibbutz home is an ideal solution for families, as it is also an opportunity to live a quality community life and also to combine financial independence.

An excellent real estate deal that does not involve disengagement

"And also in the real estate aspect, the move to the kibbutz is an excellent deal.

The number of projects for the construction of land houses has decreased significantly throughout the country, while the areas are smaller than half a dunam and the density is high.

On the other hand, in the expansion neighborhoods in the kibbutzim, most of the areas offered for sale are large.
