(ANSA-AFP) - BEIRUT, 20 SEPTEMBER - The Lebanese parliament has given its confidence to a new government led by Prime Minister Najib Mikati, who will have the difficult task of pulling the country out of a deep economic crisis after 13 months of political detachment.
After an eight-hour marathon to examine the government's action plan, 85 deputies voted to trust the new executive, 15 spoke out against, parliamentary president Nabih Berri said.
