(ANSA) - MILAN, SEPTEMBER 20 - European stock exchanges continue to decline with investors fearing the Fed's next moves. The US central bank will meet again on Wednesday and could revise its policy on purchases of securities. The markets are also affected by fears of a hypothetical contagion of the crisis of the Chinese real estate group Evergrande, at least in China.
The Stoxx 600 area index fell 1.83%. Paris and Milan (-2.3%), Frankfurt (-2.1%), Madrid (-1.9%) and London (-1.5%) are slipping. On the currency front, the euro against the dollar changed hands at 1.1708, down 0.15%. (HANDLE).
