(ANSA) - ROME, SEPTEMBER 22 - The mobilization of Alitalia workers continues after the breakdown of the negotiations with Ita on the contract and on the cigs. Yesterday's principals in Rome in Piazza SanSilvestro, on the occasion of the hearing in Parliament of the executive president of the NewCo, Alfredo Altavilla, and at the Fiumicino airport in front of the company headquarters, are followed today by new assemblies from 10 to 18 always in Fiumicino on the square in front of the entrance to the Alitalia building.
Controlled by the police, there are already over 200 workers, some in uniform and some in overalls, present with union flags and banners bearing protest slogans.
From the trade unions, who yesterday launched the appeal to the workers unit, the request for an institutional seat where they can deal with Ita, Alitalia Commissioners and Ministries.
