Brazil's football legend Pelé spoke up after the removal of a tumor on the intestine from the clinic.
"Friends, I am sending you this video that my wife made today to share my joy with you," he says in a post on his Instagram account.
In the video, the 80-year-old can be seen doing a light exercise bike. “I am surrounded by affection and an incentive to feel a little better every day. If I cycle like that, I'll be back at Santos soon, won't I? ”Asked the athlete cheerfully. While Pelé is pedaling, sayings and jokes can be heard from the two men who are obviously helping him with his rehabilitation.
About two weeks ago, the three-time world champion had a tumor removed from his colon, which doctors had previously discovered during a routine examination in a clinic in São Paulo.
After the operation, the 92-time Brazilian international was initially treated in the intensive care unit.
Pelé's health has repeatedly been a cause for concern over the past few years.
Pelé made 92 international appearances and won three world titles in 1958, 1962 and 1970.
