"I want to see Eitan at home."
These are the words of Aja Biran, the baby's aunt, at the entrance to the Tel Aviv court before the first hearing of the lawsuit she filed to bring the child who survived the Mottarone tragedy back to Italy.
"I am worried about him, I want to bring him home as soon as possible," added Aja Biran visibly excited.
Shortly before, Eitan's maternal grandmother, Etty Peleg Cohen, and her daughter Gali Peleg arrived and in recent weeks announced that she wanted to adopt Eitan.
Also in the courtroom is Shmuel Peleg, maternal grandfather who brought the baby to Israel and is under investigation in Pavia for aggravated kidnapping.
The judge allowed only Shmuel Peleg and Aja Biran to be present in the courtroom, the rest of the family was let out.
The hearing takes place behind closed doors.
