The President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella receives the Coni delegation and medal winners from the last Olympic and Paralympic Games in Tokyo at the Quirinale.
The ceremony, starting at 6 pm, will be broadcast live by Ansa.
The President of the Council Mario Draghi also greeted the athletes.
Already a few days ago, on the occasion of the inauguration of the school year in Pizzo Calabro, Mattarella had met some Olympic and Paralympic champions: among them Marcel Jacobs, Vincenza Petrilli, Stefano Raimondi and Giulia Terzi.
