(ANSA) - PALERMO, 24 SEPT - Maxi anti-mafia operation in the Nisseno.
The carabinieri of Caltanissetta are carrying out a precautionary custody order against over 50 alleged affiliates of the Sanfilippo di Mazzarino clan attributable to the Gelese stidda.
The measures were issued by the Gipdi Caltanissetta, at the request of the DDA.
The suspects must respond, for various reasons, for mafia association, murder, extortion, drug trafficking and possession of weapons, aggravated by the mafia method.
As part of the investigations, the investigators also shed light on two murders with the 'white shotgun' method that took place in 1984 and 1991 (ANSA).
