The Directorate of Vocational Training and Rehabilitation in the Ministry of Industry announced today the start of registration for vocational training courses in the complex of vocational training centers in Damascus for citizens wishing to acquire new professional skills in several specializations that qualify them to enter the labor market and increase their chances of obtaining job opportunities.
The directorate clarified in a statement that SANA received a copy of it that the courses include the specializations of informatics, administrative and office work, electricity (industrial - air conditioning - refrigeration - household - cars), electron, construction, carpentry, metallurgy, turning, blacksmithing, welding, aluminum manger, spinning, weaving, sewing, architectural and industrial drawing, in addition to the English language for state workers. Through the nomination of the entities in which they work.
The directorate indicated that intensive one-month courses were held for workers in agencies affiliated with the Ministry of Industry and for all workers in public agencies with specialization (beginner hydraulics, advanced hydraulics and compressed air, automatic control) by sending a letter of nomination to the Ministry of Industry, pointing out that the trainees receive a certificate signed by the The Ministry of Industry allows them to establish their own business according to the experience they have obtained, or to work in the public or private sectors.
Firas Zakaria, director of the Vocational Training and Rehabilitation Directorate in the ministry, explained in a statement to SANA that the directorate aims to attract citizens from the age of 15 to 45 years to train them for a full academic year (9 months) free of charge, and that work is underway to implement courses for the families of the martyrs and the wounded and the auxiliary forces, indicating that The goal is to qualify national cadres with the necessary skills that are commensurate with the labor market, which contributes to advancing the production process and the reconstruction phase.
It is noteworthy that the last date for registration is the 31st of next October, in the administration of the Vocational Training Centers Complex in Damascus, in the Qaboun area, next to the Tropicana swimming pool.
