Stewardess Carolyn presents - a routine day at work (xoblondevoyage)
Being an air steward is no easy task.
Running back and forth in the aisle, working for hours on end in the air, meeting every passenger's need and continuing to smile no matter how ridiculous your requests are - there is no doubt that these guys deserve a lot of respect.
While some of us know and appreciate, blogger and flight attendant Caroline (@xoblondevoyage) claims that many travelers underestimate them.
In a conversation with INSIDER she shared a list of 6 things she and her colleagues would prefer passengers to stop doing to make their job easier.
Some acts express blatant contempt and in others perhaps even the most polite tend to fall.
Here are six things you must stop doing on flights, as Caroline told Insider:

1. Touch the stewards to get their attention
Caroline said: "When I asked co-workers what they hated most about what passengers do, it was this. I really do not know why people think touching stewards is okay. There are those who tap us on the back with their finger and even those who hold us. If you did not do it No other customer service provider, why when these are stewards then allowed? You would not grab the waiter's hand in the restaurant, right? ".

2. Walk around the plane without shoes
Caroline explained: "Please stop taking off your shoes in the middle of the flight and walking around on a barefoot plane. I can not even tell you how many times I have seen an adult enter a bathroom without shoes."

3. Use the toilet immediately upon takeoff
Please refrain!
Caroline said: "It happens on almost every flight. There is always a queue of people in the back already during boarding, which makes the whole process slower. The queue increases again the second the seat belt sign goes off with take-off. "To start our service. When a long line of people gather to try to use the services, it is difficult for us to start the service. The best thing to do is to try to use the services at the airport before you board the flight or wait until we finish our service."

Ignore the flight attendants boarding the plane
"Getting on a plane usually sets the tone for the whole flight, so we really appreciate when you say hello to us," Caroline explained. We are just human beings, so if your flight attendants can say good morning to more than 200 people in a row, I think passengers should be able to say hello back at least once. "

5. Ask "Above where are we flying?"
Caroline explains: "Contrary to popular belief, most flight attendants do not have a fixed route. We probably have no idea what country we are passing through. I wish we could have known. Stop asking."

6. Do not remove the headset while we are talking to you
Caroline claims that one of the most annoying things is talking to a passenger while wearing headphones: "Even if your headphones play nothing, sometimes it's still hard for you to hear us or understand how loud you might be talking, so we'd love it if you could remove the headphones when we talk to you." : "It's frustrating to approach from the cabin to get you the snack and drink you ordered and see you staring at us while we try to give you a total service."
